The Northeast Florida Husker Watch Group gathers for each Husker televised game at a predetermined sports bar to cheer on the Huskers.

You don't have to be a Nebraska graduate, from Nebraska or even know much about football. We just enjoy getting together on football Saturdays for a good time and hopefully some good football games. Children are welcome.

History:

After being involved with a Husker watch group in Atlanta, Teresa Daubendiek felt there was a need for a group in the Jacksonville area. She received a University Alumni directory and mailed letters to alumni in Jacksonville and the surrounding areas. She invited everyone to get together on game days at the Stadium Club. About 25 to 30 Husker fans met on a regular basis that first year.

Since then, the group has grown and changed locations. Today, on average 45 to 50 fans meet each week to cheer on the Huskers. Our email list is sent to at least 150 people. Our members consist of University of Nebraska alumni (all campuses), former University students, former Nebraska residents, and Husker fans. If you fall into one of these categories, then you are welcome to join us at our watch parties to cheer on the Huskers.
